If you wish to participate in the Run For the Fallen and honor a loved one who proudly served in the military and passed either in-action or post-service, please fill-in the information below. Note: You need to be registered for the Ordinary Marathon. Please – one tribute per entry. The i’s are dotted and the t’s are crossed. The Ordinary Marathoner Foundation is an official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization! Now the fun begins.

We are busy at work behind the scenes building the infrastructure we need to do good things. This website is one major hurdle – so far, so good. We are also working to build our social media presence. We will be announcing some new platform participation in the coming days.

And our Advisory Board is hard at work developing programs that will fulfill our goal of spreading endurance sports to people who never thought it was something for them. We are currently working on programs to bring running to people with autism, the hearing impaired, military veterans, former athletes, and children. These programs will go through a development and approval process and then you’ll start to see that with some resources, a little effort, and some top-notch people, we really can make a difference through running.

We are in the process of developing our new non-profit! A lot of the steps are already complete. We have created a legal corporation, selected a Board of Directors, adopted bylaws and supporting policies, and our application for tax-exempt status is in the hands of the IRS currently awaiting approval!

It’s a very exciting time for us here! We will be building an Advisory Council in the coming weeks to begin development of the specific programs to fulfill our mission.
